Dear Parents of Sudbury,

This is Brad Crozier, the Superintendent of the Sudbury Schools.

I wanted to welcome you to the new school year starting tomorrow, Wednesday, August 29. The staff and teachers have been working hard over the summer to prepare for the return of the students. Tomorrow and Thursday will be full school days, and, as a reminder, there will no school on Friday, August 31st, Monday, September 3rd or Monday, September 10th. We are aware the temperatures are predicted to be in the 90’s, and we will take precautions to ensure student safety.

“Back to School” packets are now available in the ASPEN Family Portal. Please log-in and complete these forms before the start of school as the packet contains important transportation and emergency information.  Detailed directions can be found on the district website by clicking on this link.

Bus passes for the elementary students were mailed out on Thursday and Friday of last week and Middle school passes were mailed on Saturday. No student will be refused a ride if they do not have their passes. The bus routes are posted on the SPS website, with approximate pick-up times listed. Please note that routes are often longer at the start of the school year as everyone is adjusting to their new school year routines.

On behalf of myself and the Staff of SPS, I want to welcome you to another exciting school year!

Sincerely,

Brad Crozier

Superintendent
